A little about us!

I put together a fundraiser softball game between the teachers at our school. It went over pretty well and we got some funny pics of Jonathan and I that night. I thought we might share just a little bit about us for once! But, I can't go without talking about Cantley a little bit. She did go to bat for me and smacked the ball off the tee. She really hit it hard! She was nervous to run so I scooped her up and toted her around the bases. When we got to third I told her to run home. She slid in about half way to home plate. It was really a great moment to watch!

Cheerleader Girl

Cantley got a new cheerleading outfit from a very kind friend. She LOVES it! I think she wore it two or three days in a row. Well, we had a game tonight and she had to wear it. She got her picture made with the Genoa Dragon!

Cantley, yard work and bean art

Well, yesterday was a beautiful day. We decided to do a little family yard work. Cantley was really a big help. Once she got tired, she decided to help me with dinner. While I was helping a friend on the phone, she decided to taste the refried beans. Once she realized they would get all over her fingers, she decided to make "bean art" out of it on our window! I hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed a good laugh! She was honest about using beans and thought it looked really pretty. Be on the look out for Halloween pics tomorrow!

More Pumpkins

Well, we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon at the pumpkin patch in Dixie, LA. They have a gigantic corn maze and lots of fun things for the kids. We took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and got to pick out our pumpkins straight from the vine. We got a little lost in the maze and Cantley squated for the first time! What a day of memories-hee hee. They had corn canons, corn to play in, and even a child's train, which I got to ride since Cantley wouldn't go alone. Hope you enjoy the pics. I doubt I will be updating this thing all the time, but this has been an eventful weekend.

Pumpkin Patch

Cantley and I went to Shreveport today with some friends of ours. We went to the boardwalk where they had a mini pumpkin patch. Cantley tried to pick up several that she liked. I got some cute pics of her and her friend Ella. Cantley had a nice day and the weather was great!

Welcome!

Hey everyone. I have set up this blog so our family can keep up with what is going on in our lives and especially with Cantley. I hope you all enjoy using this to watch her grow. I thought it might also come in handy around baseball season to help everyone keep up with the Dragons 5th season under Coach Gosdin! Hope you enjoy!
