Cousins...

Although it was only a short visit, we had a great time seeing Kason and Katrina this weekend, along with Jeremy and Lindsey. When I say short, I mean only12 hours! We had two wedding showers to attend for Jeremy and Lindsey on Sat. They were both very nice and we got to see lots of friends. Here are some cute pics we got of the kids. Kason is a little chunk and it took him a while, but he finally warmed up to a few of us. I want to wish Kason a happy 1st birthday tomorrow! We look forward to seeing everyone again soon at the wedding!

Here is a picture of the Mockingbird gang. They are all the kids that grew up on Mockingbird St. together in Magnolia. Hard to find better people who are always there for each other. Only one couldn't be there and we missed you Chuck. His dad, Charlie stood in proudly for him for the pic.

Learning from Example

Cantley is learning by example at our house. I found her sitting on the couch on her laptop like I always do. Check out her little mouse in the picture!

Dancing Queen

Here are some pictures from Cantley's first day of dance class. We have everything from daddy putting on her tights to her calling Katrina to tell her she was on her way. I even got a few of her in the class before they closed the door.

It's official! Cantley starts taking dance lessons on Thursday! We got her signed up last night and spent part of yesterday getting her new ballet shoes, tights, and leotards. Of coarse she wanted to wear every bit of it right away.

The sweetest thing that came from yesterday was after we bought her new stuff, she called Aunt Katrina to tell her all about it. While filling her in, she asked if she was already there. She meant, was Aunt Katrina there to teach her dance! I thought that was SO sweet. Katrina had the privilege of teaching Cantley her first class over a year and a half ago and Cantley loved that SO much. I guess she thought it was time again.

She did meet her new teacher last night and really wanted to dance right away. I will take pictures of her first day and try to post them on here. Our new computer isn't here yet so we are slow on the pictures, but as major an event as this is, we will post pictures!
