Snow White in town and a trip to Disney

Cantley got to meet Snow White the day after swim lessons were done. She wanted to dress up as Sleeping Beauty to meet her. She talked her head off about princesses and Prince Philip and whatever else she could think of. Pics are below-I never got a good one of Cantley b/c she wouldn't stop talking-imagine that????!!!!!

Finally, Jonathan and I got to attend an awesome conference in Orlando. We really got some great ideas and some rejuvenation as teachers. On top of that, we got to hit up the parks and have some fun. It was like a 2nd honeymoon-sorda! Cantley got to take a bacation(her speaking) to Nanna's and Bada's houses and seemed to have a blast! She didn't seem to care we came home. I have some pics of our trip, just a few of the 250 I took!!!!!!

Right now, Jonathan is in Jonesboro coaching as part of the state All-Star game. One of his players, the only sophomore there, got invited and then J got asked to coach. They are having a great time.

We'll be posting more soon!

Updating...

Hi all...not only are we updating the blog, but lots of things in our house. Since deciding to stay in texarkana for now, we decided to go ahead with some plans we had for our house. The first one was the new appliances. We got those put in and even put a new faucet on the sink. I must compliment Jonathan b/c he did most all the work with some help from a few ball players. Next, we were able to match the tile in our bathroom and are going to paint in there and lay tile this week.

Our computer is fixed and I pick it up tomorrow so we will be back in business. I should be able to upload some pictures of the new improvements.

Cantley has been busy. She started swimming lessons today and really did well. She also had a great time-which we were hoping for. She likes her new teacher and that she gave them Popsicles after class today!!! We got her a new art easel that has a white board, a chalk board, and a paper roll for painting. She was excited to play with it today and hopefully will enjoy it all summer.

That is it for my update. I will try to get some pics up as soon as I can. Friday is Cantley's show off day at her swim lessons so i will try to have video and pics from that as well!!!!

not moving...

O.k. after much turmoil, Jonathan and I have decided that we are not moving right now. The job offer was a big honor, but it just was not the right place for our family at this time. We are relieved to have a decision b/c this was not easy to come by and took a lot out of us. After a night up talking until the wee hours, we came to our decision and finally felt some peace about it. I now God has a plan for us that one day we will hopefully see a little of. Thanks for all those that prayed and listened when we needed you.

After no sleep and lots of crying, we awoke to a new day and got our new appliances. We got a few baseball boys to help and thank goodness they were here! As I type at 10:30 tonight they are working on the dishwasher. This is already one blessing we have here-great players that are like family to us!

Word is out...

We were trying to keep it from getting out in Genoa so we could tell our players and friends, but word got out when they called for references. Jonathan was offered the head baseball job at El Dorado High School. We are waiting to see what they offer me before we make a final decision to go or not. We have a lot to think about as far as our house and most importantly Cantley. This is why we need your prayers at this time. This is not an easy decisions for us as you can imagine.

We need you...

I am asking that anyone that read the blog please pray for our family at this time. We are making some very major decisions and really need support. I will post more when I can, but at this time I cannot give more information. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we are seeking God's will in our life!!! We really appreciate you!!!

Much love-Jonathan and Natalie

P.S. b/c our computer at home is down, we don't have access to our e-mail address book right now. If you read this and want an update as soon as we can give more info, please e-mail us!
